Police & Fire: Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011

Burglary

• At 9:07 p.m. Wednesday, a 38-year-old man reported his residence burglarized and his property stolen in the 9100 block of Parkwood Drive.

Death

• At 8 p.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department investigated a death in the 1500 block of Third Street.

Disturbance

• At 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of a disturbance in the 3800 block of Portage Boulevard.

Domestic violence

• At 5:37 p.m. Thursday, an 18-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault. He was also cited as a minor consuming alcohol. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 3:08 a.m. Friday, a 45-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault. He was taken to LCCC.

• At 2:48 p.m. Thursday, JPD reported it held a long-term domestic violence order to serve on a 38-year-old woman.

Driving without a valid license

• At 1:50 a.m. Friday, Jerome Charles Dennis Jr., 21, was cited for driving without a valid license in the 8100 block of Egan Drive. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Fire and medical

• At 12:08 a.m. Thursday, Capital City Fire and Rescue responded to an emergency medical incident on Kanat’a Street.

• At 3:24 p.m. Thursday, CCFR responded a fire alarm on Hospital Drive. The alarm was caused by smoke from soldering equipment.

• At 8 p.m. Thursday, CCFR responded to a report of a dead woman on Third Street. The scene was turned over to JPD.

• At 3:09 a.m. Friday, CCFR responded to an emergency medical incident on Gull Way. The patient declined transport.

• At 4:13 a.m. Friday, CCFR responded to an emergency medical incident on Slim Williams Way. No transport was required.

• At 8:37 a.m. Friday, CCFR responded to an authorized, controlled burning on Brothers Avenue.

• At 10:30 a.m. Friday, CCFR responded to a vehicle accident with injury on Egan Drive. A man was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 10:46 a.m. Friday, CCFR responded to a vehicle accident with injuries at the 18.5-mile marker of Glacier Highway. A man was taken to BRH.

• At 11:56 a.m. Friday, a patient was taken from BRH to Juneau International Airport.

• At 12:03 p.m. Friday, a woman was taken from Lemon Creek Road to BRH.

• At 12:40 p.m. Friday, a woman was taken from Salmon Creek Lane to BRH.

• At 1:56 p.m. Friday, a woman was taken from Gastineau Avenue to BRH.

• At 8:57 p.m. Friday, a man was taken from Franklin Street to BRH.

• At 2:57 a.m. Saturday, a man was taken from Glacier Highway to BRH.

• At 4:37 a.m. Saturday, a man was taken from Gastineau Avenue to BRH.

• At 5:19 a.m. Saturday, CCFR extinguished a fire in a second-floor apartment on James Boulevard.

• At 5:34 a.m. Saturday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm malfunction on Airport Boulevard.

• At 11:07 a.m. Saturday, CCFR responded to an emergency medical incident on Glacier Highway.

• At 11:08 a.m. Saturday, a woman was taken from Salmon Creek Lane to BRH.

• At 12:54 p.m. Saturday, a woman was taken from BRH to JIA.

• At 3:21 p.m. Saturday, CCFR responded to a false call on Glacierwood Drive.

• At 4:18 p.m. Saturday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Heron way. Burnt food caused the alarm.

• At 7:13 p.m. Saturday, CCFR responded to an emergency medical incident on Douglas Highway. A woman was taken to BRH.

• At 9:43 p.m. Saturday, CCFR responded a fire alarm on Glacier Highway. A smoke machine caused the alarm.

Minor consuming alcohol

• At 10:29 p.m. Thursday, a 16-year-old girl was cited as a minor consuming alcohol.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 10:57 a.m. Thursday, a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old man lost an unsecured load on Sixth Street. The load fell and struck multiple vehicles, and damaged some of them. The driver was cited for having an unsecured load.

• At 10:30 a.m. Friday, JPD investigated a report of a vehicle driven by a 78-year-old man striking a vehicle driven by a 52-year-old man in the 8100 block of Egan Drive. The 78-year-old man was taken to BRH for an evaluation of his injuries.

• At 10:46 a.m. Friday, JPD investigated a report of a 50-year-old woman operating a vehicle that was involved in a single-vehicle rollover accident. The woman was taken to BRH for evaluation.

Service

• At 4 p.m. Thursday, a 20-day ex parte stalking protective order was served on a 55-year-old man.

Service needed

• At 2:47 p.m. Thursday, JPD reported it held a long-term protective order to serve on a 40-year-old man.

Theft

• At 12:52 p.m. Thursday, Matfie Herman McCarr Jr., 31, was arrested for larceny in the 200 block of Franklin Street.

• At 4:20 p.m. Thursday, a 26-year-old man reported the theft of groceries from Fred Meyer in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. The groceries are valued at $79.16.

• At 8:24 a.m. Friday, a 52-year-old woman reported a flashlight and seatbelt cutter stolen from her vehicle.

• At 9:05 a.m. Friday, a 44-year-old man reported someone tampering with the gas tanks on two vehicles, and possibly stealing gas, in the 5400 block of Bent Court.

Trespassing

• At 12:23 a.m. Thursday, Lena Jimmie, 50 was arrested for criminal trespass in the 100 block of Seward Street. She was taken to LCCC.

• At 1:58 a.m. Thursday, Christopher Gentry, 37, was arrested for criminal trespass at the Church of the Nazarene in the 3200 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. He was taken to LCCC.

Warrant arrest

• At 7:56 p.m. Wednesday, Wilhelmina Mills, 23, was arrested on four warrants in the 6200 block of Alaway Avenue. All four warrants were issued for failure to appear for arraignment. She was taken to LCCC.
