Assault

• At 12:19 a.m. Thursday, John Paul, 36, Brent Sanders, 21, and Clifford Brown, 21, were arrested for assaulting a 26-year-old man in the 100 block of Franklin Street, and were lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Burglary

• At 3:14 a.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department investigated a burglary of a pawn shop in the 9300 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 4:42 a.m. Friday, JPD investigated a burglary of Mike’s Airport Express in the 9100 block of Glacier Highway.

Child abuse/neglect

• At 4:33 p.m. Thursday, JPD investigated a report of possible child abuse.

• At 8:40 a.m. Friday, JPD investigated a report of possible child abuse.

Conditions violation

• At 10:59 p.m. Thursday, JPD investigated a report of Heather Warden, 40, violating conditions of release in the 100 block of Franklin Street.

Disorderly conduct

• At 4:42 p.m. Thursday, JPD investigated a report of disorderly conduct in the 9000 block of Cinema Drive.

Domestic violence

• At 3:12 p.m. Wednesday, a domestic violence protective order was served on a 34-year-old man.

• At 9:56 a.m. Thursday, JPD investigated a reported domestic violence assault.

• At 11:20 p.m. Thursday, a 28-year-old woman reported being assaulted by a 37-year-old man.

• At 1:20 a.m. Friday, a 32-year-old man reported being assaulted by a 36-year-old woman.

Driving while intoxicated

• At 2:19 a.m. Thursday, Michael Trull, 21, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 900 block of Third Street. He was taken to LCCC, and the vehicle was impounded.

Driving without a license

• At 10:12 a.m. Thursday, William John Petaja, 48, was cited and released for driving without a license in the 6300 block of Glacier Highway. The vehicle was impounded.

Drug activity

• At 1:43 p.m. Wednesday, a 15-year-old boy was arrested for misconduct involving a controlled substance in the third and fourth degrees. He was taken to Johnson Youth Center.

• At 2:14 p.m. Wednesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a report of drug activity.

• At 5:03 p.m. Thursday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a report of drug activity.

Fire and medical

• At 12:19 a.m. Thursday, EMS provided care to a man on Franklin Street, and he was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 1:02 a.m. Thursday, EMS provided care to a man on Front Street, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 3:24 a.m. Thursday, Capital City Fire and Rescue responded to a fire alarm system malfunction on Marine Way and found no fire.

• At 3:35 a.m. Thursday, EMS provided care to a man on Douglas Highway, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 7:41 a.m. Thursday, CCFR assisted a man on Hospital drive at BRH to a private residence.

• At 9:29 a.m. Thursday, EMS provided care to a woman on Shell Simmons Drive, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 3:40 p.m. Thursday, CCFR responded to a vehicle accident non-injury on Mendenhall Loop Road.

• At 4:31 p.m. Thursday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm system malfunction on Gastineau Avenue and found no fire.

• At 11:20 p.m. Thursday, EMS provided care to a woman on Northwood Drive, and she was taken to BRH.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report that a grader struck a parked trailer in the 3300 block of Park Place. No damage was reported sustained.

• At 8:46 a.m. Thursday, a 24-year-old man reported a vehicle was struck while parked in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 8:54 p.m. Thursday, Karen Carlos, 20, was cited and released in the 9900 block of Mendenhall Loop Road for driving without a license, and the vehicle was impounded.

Fraud

• At 7:25 a.m. Thursday, a 45-year-old woman reported her credit card was used without permission.

• At 2:10 p.m. Thursday, a 39-year-old man reported his credit card was used without permission.

Service

• At 9:21 p.m. Wednesday, Lillian Fred, 55, was arrested in the 9200 block of Emily Way on a warrant charging failure to appear for a pretrial hearing, and a $500 JPD warrant charging failure to appear on assault/interfering. She was taken to LCCC.

• At 9:16 p.m. Thursday, Melissa Lytle, 29, was arrested in the 1600 block of Renninger Street on a warrant issued for failure to appear at a compliance hearing on original charges of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. She was taken to LCCC.

• At 11:12 p.m. Thursday, Dawn Land, 30, was arrested in the 9300 block of Glacier Highway on a warrant issued for failure to appear on original charge of larceny shoplifting, and a warrant issued for failure to appear for order to show cause hearing. She was taken to LCCC.

Stalking

• At 4:43 p.m. Wednesday, a stalking protective order needed to be served on a 54-year-old man.

• At 4:44 p.m. Wednesday, a stalking protective order needed to be served on a 35-year-old woman.

• At 5:49 p.m. Wednesday, a stalking protective order was served on a 55-year-old man.

Theft

• At 8:48 p.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated a report of a stolen debit card in the 1200 block of Ninth Street.

• At 4:26 p.m. Thursday, Ivan Patrick Sabon, 38, was arrested and released for concealment of merchandise in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 7:43 a.m. Friday, JPD investigated a suspected theft on Lemon Creek Road.

Traffic

• At 12:55 a.m. Thursday, a vehicle was impounded as a traffic hazard in the 4200 block of Mendenhall Boulevard.

Get him off the street

Time to send multiple DUI offender Petaja to the slam for a long time, to keep him off the road!

Miscreants like him will continue to drive even without a license, so they need to be put away to protect the public.

He doesn't have a license due

He doesn't have a license due to a slew of DWI arrests. Further, he has been cited several times for driving without a license. Somebody needs to teach him how to ride the bus.
