Police have identified the victim of an accidental shooting Saturday near the Hank Harmon Rifle Range on Montana Creek Road.
He is Joseph Bingham, 26.
Bingham was medevaced from Bartlett Regional Hospital to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Saturday, where he was still a patient as of 4 p.m. Tuesday.
His condition was described by Harborview media relations personnel as being "serious."
Bingham was shot in the leg Saturday afternoon after leaving the rifle range. A passenger in the vehicle Bingham was driving was attempting to unload a pistol when it discharged, striking Bingham, according to a JPD release. The shooting was apparently accidental. A police investigation into the matter is still ongoing.
