Domestic violence assault

• At 6:46 p.m. Sunday, a 45-year-old woman reported she was assaulted by a 46-year-old man.

Driving without a license

• At 8:24 p.m. Sunday, Christopher Edgar, 30, was cited and released for driving without a license in the 3300 block of Douglas Highway. The vehicle was impounded.

Promoting contraband

• At 12:30 p.m. Monday, Alaska State Troopers received a report from Lemon Creek Correctional Center of contraband located in a holding cell at the jail. Investigation revealed that two balloons filled with tobacco were found by prison officials. A suspect has been identified and charges will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.


• At 6:22 p.m. Sunday, a 30-year-old man reported a theft of Jerry Jugs of fuel, worth an estimated $50, and heating fuel, worth an estimated $100, from his residence in the 9800 block of Ninemile Creek Road.

• At 10:07 a.m. Monday, a 46-year-old woman reported gas stolen from company vehicles in the 6200 block of Glacier Highway.


• At 8:11 a.m. Monday, approximately $200 worth of damage was sustained for a window at Mendenhall River Elementary School in the 9000 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.
