The Alaska State Museum held a workshop to teach third, fourth and fifth graders about Native doll making on Wednesday. A second workshop for kindergartners, first and second graders is scheduled from 1-3 p.m. for this coming Wednesday, Dec. 28.

About 30 children learned to make an Athabaskan man, woman and child with fishing and hunting gear and a canoe with paddle. Wednesday's workshop was for third through fifth graders. The workshop will be repeated next Wednesday, Dec. 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. for kindergarten, first and second graders.
