Ferry delays departure from Juneau for a day

An Alaska Marine Highway Service ferry bound for Yakutat from Juneau on Monday delayed its departure by 24 hours, according to a release from the AMHS.

The Kennicott is now set to leave from the Auke Bay ferry terminal at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday and arrive in Yakutat at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, the release states. Severe weather is the cause for the delay, the release states.
