Weather cancels ferry sailings

The FVF Fairweather has canceled the Thursday, Jan. 5 sailings due to high wind and seas, according to a release from the Alaska Marine Highway System.

The release stated the vessel departed Cordova this morning on schedule, but had to return due to weather conditions. The Fairweather is expected to arrive at the Cordova terminal at noon Thursday. AMHS staff is contacting affected passengers.
