Juneau Alliance for Mental Health, Inc. was awarded CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) International accreditation for a period of three years for its mental health services in adult outpatient treatment, case management and services coordination, community housing, supported living, and crisis intervention.
Governance standards were applied, meaning that JAMHI sought this optional, more rigorous level of organizational accountability. This is the first accreditation the accrediting body, CARF International, has awarded to JAMHI.
This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a three-year accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.
Juneau Alliance for Mental Health, Inc. is a non-profit organization that has been providing mental health services in the Juneau area since 1985 and provides support to other Southeast communities.
