Taku cancels Sunday, Monday sailings

The ferry Taku canceled all of its sailings scheduled for Sunday and Monday, according to a release from the Alaska Marine Highway System.

The sailings were scrubbed because of a mechanical issue, the release states.

The Taku had been scheduled to arrive in Juneau from Kake at 6:29 a.m. Sunday, according to a schedule available on the AMHS website. The ferry was then to head to Hoonah at 11:01 a.m. Sunday. No Monday arrivals to or departures from Juneau were scheduled, according to the calendar.
