Assault

• At 2:18 p.m. Thursday, a 20-year-old man was arrested on two counts of assault in the fourth degree and one count of misconduct involving weapons in the fourth degree, all class ‘A’ misdemeanors.

Assist

• At 12:26 a.m. Friday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a report of drug activity in the 11700 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 8:33 a.m. Friday, JPD assisted another agency in the Juneau area.

• At 9:16 a.m. Friday, JPD assisted another agency in the Juneau area.

Burglary

• At 12:01 p.m. Thursday, JPD investigated a report of an attempted burglary in the 4500 block of Kanata Street.

Criminal mischief

• At 11:31 a.m. Thursday, a 37-year-old man was arrested for criminal mischief domestic violence, and he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 4:50 p.m. Thursday, a 21-year-old man was arrested for criminal mischief, assault in the third degree, resisting arrest and interfering with a domestic violence report. He was taken to LCCC.

Criminal trespass

• At 6:58 p.m. Thursday, Angela Marie Brown, 29, was cited and released for criminal trespass in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 9:08 a.m. Friday, a 34-year-old reported an unknown male on her property in the 9100 block of Glacier Highway.

Death investigation

• At 8:14 a.m. Friday, JPD conducted a confidential death investigation in the 800 block of Fifth Street.

Disturbance

• At 6:52 p.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated a report of a disturbance in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

Domestic violence protective order

• At 3 p.m. Wednesday, a domestic violence protective order needs to be served on a 19-year-old woman in the Juneau area.

Drug activity

• At 1:42 p.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated a report of drug activity in the 1600 block of Glacier Avenue.

Minor consuming

• At 11:37 p.m. Wednesday, Andrew Steven Liddle Jamestown, 19, was cited and released for minor consuming on Mendenhall Mall Road.

• At 9:28 p.m. Thursday, David Charles Nelson, 20, and Conrad Emanuel Revey, 19, and a 17-year-old boy were cited and released for minor consuming in the 300 block of Willoughby Avenue.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 9:19 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a blue 1998 Subaru Legacy on Egan Drive. A 19-year-old man was cited and released for negligent driving.

• At 7:44 a.m. Thursday, JPD investigated a two-vehicle accident on Egan Outbound. The first vehicle was a 2009 Ford-350 driven by a 41-year-old man, and the second vehicle was a 1997 Ford Explorer driven by a 37-year-old man. The driver of the first vehicle was cited and released for careless driving.

• At 3:24 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a motor vehicle accident in the 9000 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. An 18-year-old man was cited and released for careless driving.

• At 6:31 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of an unknown vehicle striking a 2008 Chevy truck and leaving the area in the 1500 block of Third Street.

Search and rescue

• At 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, Juneau Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a possible overdue hiker on Blackerby Ridge near Juneau. Investigation revealed Kyle William Thompson, 28, of Juneau, parked his vehicle near the Blackerby Ridge trailhead and began hiking up the trail alone the morning of Jan. 15. According to roommates, Thompson was well equipped and a very experienced hiker/ice climber. It was unknown what gear Thompson took with him but he had all the necessary equipment. Roommates stated he may be on a 2-4 day trip. With temperatures nearing zero and wind gusting to 40 miles per hour at sea level, a Temco Helicopter was chartered to search for Thompson at the 500 foot level. At 1:30 p.m., Troopers contacted Thompson who was uninjured and took him to the Juneau airport.

Service

• At 2:08 p.m. Thursday, Mark A. Brown, 45, was arrested in the 2000 block of Lemon Creek Road on an outstanding JPD warrant for failure to appear for hearing on an original charge of criminal trespass. He was taken to LCCC.

• At 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Reubena Laurette Karlson-Schwab, 47, was arrested in the 4400 block of Sesame Street on a $500 JPD warrant for failure to appear for a pretrial hearing on the original charge of driving under the influence. She was taken to LCCC.

Stalking protective order

• At 2:57 p.m. Wednesday, a stalking protective order was served on a 44-year-old man in the Juneau area.

Theft

• At 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, a 27-year-old man reported the theft of 300-400 gallons of heating fuel in the 9100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, a 61-year-old woman reported the theft of a necklace, estimated value at $500, in the 5800 block of North Street.

• At 7:07 p.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated the report of a theft of rings, estimated value at $1,300, in the 400 block of Seward Street.

• At 2:08 a.m. Thursday, JPD investigated the report of a stolen purse on Marine Way.

• At 8:15 a.m. Thursday, a 51-year-old man reported his cell phone, estimated value at $483, stolen in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

• At 2:30 p.m. Thursday, a 26-year-old woman was cited and released for city larceny in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 3:23 p.m. Thursday, a 32-year-old man was cited and released for theft from Walmart in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 5:55 p.m. Thursday, Joseph Charles Johnson, 56, was cited and released for larceny in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 2:52 p.m. Thursday, JPD investigated a report of theft of pulltabs in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.

• At 9:54 a.m. Friday, a 35-year-old woman reported a theft of an ice cooler valued at $250 in the 3400 block of Tongass Boulevard.
