Anywhere from 2 to 6 inches of snow is expected to fall on Juneau between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning, according to a winter weather advisory from the National Weather Service.
The warning covers the time period from 4 p.m. Tuesday through 5 a.m. Wednesday. It encompasses an area that includes eastern Chichagof, eastern Baranof and Admiralty islands, and the cities of Gustavus, Hoonah and Angoon in addition to Juneau.
