Crime of the week: slashed tires

The Juneau Police Department’s Crime of the Week for Jan. 27 is about slashed tires.

 

JPD received a report from a resident near the 6000 block of Montgomery Street on Dec. 28 saying all four tires on her vehicle were slashed while it was parked overnight. Total damage is estimated at $900.

JPD has received multiple reports of tire slashings in the Juneau area in recent weeks, a release stated.

Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime is encouraged to log onto the Juneau Crime Line at juneaucrimeline.com and report their tip.

Tipsters are guaranteed anonymity and can be rewarded.
