Police & Fire: Monday, Feb. 6, 2012


• On Saturday at 8:04 p.m. a 40-year-old female reported someone entered her home on the 8500 block of Marilyn Avenue. The suspect was gone upon the officer’s arrival. Investigation continues.

Child abuse/neglect

• Investigation continues in the report of child neglect in the Juneau area.


• On Saturday at 4:26 p.m. Ivan Patrick Sabon, 61, was arrested for disorderly conduct on the 3200 block of Hospital Drive. He was transported to and lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was a factor, police said.

• On Saturday at 11:44 p.m. a 51-year-old woman reported a 56-year-old female and a 62-year-old female assaulted her. Alcohol was a factor, police said.

Domestic Violence Assault

• A 28-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault in the Juneau area Saturday at 11:39 p.m.

Motor vehicle crash

• Saturday at 1:07 p.m. a 57-year-old man reported his vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle sometime during the night on the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• Police responded Sunday at 9:48 a.m. to a report of a rollover accident on the 8400 block of Douglas Highway. There were no injuries and the vehicle was privately towed.


• On Saturday at 1:01 p.m. a 39-year-old man reported his iPhone stolen from the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• A 64-year-old woman reported the theft of fuel oil Sunday at 9:01 a.m. on the 5800 block of Glacier Highway.

• A 25-year-old man reported a theft on the 1800 block of Shell Simmmons Drive.


• On Saturday at 2:46 p.m. William Eric Moy, 38, was arrested for criminal trespass on the 1200 block of Brittany Place. Moy was transported to and lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was a factor, police said.
