Wells Fargo’s 2011 Alaska Teacher of the Year award in Juneau went to Glacier Valley Elementary School music teacher Lorrie Heagy, who accepted a $1,000 donation to the school and a plush pony from Wells Fargo Juneau Business Banking Manager Karen West and Downtown Juneau Store Manager Tyler Davis during a ceremony on Monday at the campus. Wells Fargo is presenting the school with $1,000 to support its arts programs, and an oversized plush pony that was displayed in Wells Fargo stores during the holidays.
