Police & Fire for Friday, Feb. 10

Assault

• At 12:07 p.m. Wednesday, Valerie Lyn Sherman, 37, was arrested for assault in the 100 block of Franklin Street, and she was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Assist

• At 9:25 p.m. Wednesday, Juneau Police Department assisted adult probations in a remand in the 2800 block of Postal Way.

Disturbance

• At 6:28 p.m. Wednesday, a 22-year-old man reported someone entered his house in the 8400 block of Thunder Mountain Road, but nothing was stolen.

Domestic violence protective order

• At 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, a domestic violence protective order needed to be served on a 40-year-old man.

• At 4:47 p.m. Wednesday, a domestic violence protective order needed to be served on a 53-year-old man.

Driving without a license

• At 12:33 p.m. Wednesday, Norval Einer Nelson III, 37, was cited and released for driving without a license in the 8100 block of Egan Drive, and the vehicle was impounded.

• At 1:25 a.m. Thursday, Kristopher Nelson, 24, was cited and released for driving without a license on Engineers Cutoff Road, and the vehicle was impounded.

False statement

• On Wednesday, Stuart I. Tracy, 47, was cited for making a false statement of a material fact on his 2011 resident sport fish license.

• On Wednesday, Kyle D. Boudreau, 25, was cited for making a false statement of a material fact on his 2010 resident sport fish license.

• On Wednesday, Rhonda M. Moseby, 55, was cited for making a false statement of a material fact on her 2011 resident sport fish license.

• On Wednesday, Brittnay M. Armstrong, 26, was cited for making a false statement of a material fact on her 2011 resident sport fish license.

Fire and medical

• At 5:37 a.m. Wednesday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Lawson Creek Road, and she was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 7:08 a.m. Wednesday, advanced life support care was given to a woman on 10th Street, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 7:24 a.m. Wednesday, EMS care was given to a man in a vehicle accident with no injuries on Mendenhall Loop Road. No transport was required.

• At 9:59 a.m. Wednesday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Franklin Street, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 10:43 a.m. Wednesday, Capital City Fire and Rescue responded to a fire alarm on Hospital Drive, and investigation found no fire and that there was malicious activation of the alarm.

• At 2:43 p.m. Wednesday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Third Street, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 4:16 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR participated in an aircraft rescue firefighters drill on Shell Simmons Drive.

• At 5:05 p.m. Wednesday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Linda Avenue, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 5:34 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR investigated high carbon monoxide levels in an upstairs storage space on Douglas Highway, and investigation found levels were returned to normal after ventilating the space.

• At 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR conducted a smoke or odor investigation on Brentwood Place, and investigation found haze was emitting from a second floor room and that it was of a chemical nature. The area was ventilated and cleared.

• At 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, advanced life support care was given to a woman on 12th Street, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 10:18 p.m. Wednesday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Savikko Road, and he was taken to BRH.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 3:32 p.m. Wednesday, an 80-year-old woman reported her vehicle was struck while parked in the Juneau area, damaging the front fender.

• At 5:07 p.m. Wednesday, a 28-year-old man reported being struck by a vehicle in a parking lot in the 400 block of Willoughby Avenue.

Service

• At 2:24 p.m. Wednesday, Sonya Rene Crawford, 32, was arrested in the 1200 block of Egan Drive on a JPD warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on the original charge of larceny for $100. She was taken to LCCC.

Sex abuse of a minor

• At 6 p.m. Wednesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a report of a sexual abuse of a minor.

Shoplifting

• At 1:32 p.m. Wednesday, Chris McBean, 36, was cited and released for shoplifting in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

Tampering with a witness

• At 9:07 a.m. Thursday, JPD investigated a complaint of tampering with a witness.
