Juneau’s first red king crab personal use fishery of the year closes today.
The king crab personal use fishery in area 11-A near Juneau, which began Feb. 1, will close at 11:59 p.m., according to a release from the state.
Area 11-A stretches from Point Arden and Point Bishop in the south to just past the northwestern tip of Lincoln Island in Central Lynn Canal.
