Juneau Republicans hosting presidential preference poll today

The Capitol City Republicans are hosting a Republican Presidential Preference Poll today, “Super Tuesday,” from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Juneau Yacht Club. All registered Republicans may vote their preference under the same procedures used in other Alaskan communities. Republicans from outside Juneau may vote in the poll.

Participants must bring a photo ID to receive a ballot and cast their vote.

At 6:30 p.m., the club will host a district convention for new House Districts 31 and 32 (formerly House Districts 4 and 3), at the yacht club. Registered voters from those districts will meet to elect officers and delegates to the Republican state convention.

A registration fee of $20 will be charged for each participant in the district convention.
