No report from Capital City Fire & Rescue was available for Saturday or Sunday. Incidents from Saturday, March 17, were not available from the Juneau Police Department website and will be run when they become available.

Assault/Domestic violence

• Police investigated a reported domestic violence assault in the Juneau area.

Drug activity

• A confidential investigation began in the Juneau area Saturday into alleged drug activity.


• At 3:42 a.m. Sunday Katherine Howard Torrance, 36, was arrested on the 4000 block of Douglas Highway for driving while intoxicated and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Motor Vehicle crash/DUI

• Yvonne Willis, 26, was arrested at 1:18 a.m. Saturday following a crash on James Boulevard and taken to LCCC.

Found property

• A wallet found on the on the 100-block of Main Street was turned in at 7:13 a.m.

Hit and Run

• At 11:58 p.m. on Sunday a 26-year-old woman reported her vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle sometime during the previous night.

Minor consuming

• A 17-year-old female was cited and released for minor consuming at 3:51 a.m. Sunday on the 6500 block of Egan Drive.

Traffic Stop

• At 2:17 p.m. Saturday on the 4000 block of Egan a 1986 Lincoln Town Car was impounded for safekeeping.


• A 32-year-old woman reported vandalism to a residence on the 4500 block of Kanata Street at 4 a.m. Sunday.
