Juneau Police Department responded to a report of a body under the Gold Creek Bridge Tuesday morning.

JPD Lt. David Campbell identified the person as Gloria Plummer, 61. No foul play is suspected.

Campbell said Plummer was living in a homeless camp under the bridge near Egan Drive. Another person in the camp found her and called police just before 10 a.m. Tuesday.

A doctor said there was no signs of trauma or injury, though there were indications of chronic alcohol abuse, Campbell relayed.

Next of kin has been notified, he said.
