Miranda Hirst, 10, left, and Ashley Hopson, 11, are among a dozen students learning how to use a compass and map by Pete Schneider of the U.S. Forest Service Wednesday as part of a week long Juneau Explorers Spring Break Program at the Juneau-Douglas City Museum. During the week the students will be looking for aquatic insects, bowling, ice skating and making various art projects.
