Two memorial services will be held in honor of a homeless woman whose body was found under Gold Creek Bridge earlier this week.
The Glory Hole Executive Director Mariya S. Lovishchuk said in a phone interview that the downtown shelter and soup kitchen will be hosting a candlelight ceremony for Gloria Plummer, 61, tonight (Friday) at 5 p.m., 274 S. Franklin Street.
Another service will be held Saturday at noon at the Church of God-Glacier Valley, 8497 Thunder Mountain Road, said Pastor Richard Green.
As the Empire reported earlier, police found Plummer, 61, on Tuesday morning. Lt. David Campbell said she was living in a homeless camp under the bridge. Another person in the camp found her and called police.
No foul play was suspected, and a doctor said there were no signs of trauma or injury.
