Vandalism is JPD's Crime of the Week

The Juneau Police Department Crime of the Week for March 23 is an act of vandalism.

Sgt. Paul Hatch stated in a release a woman in the 400 block of ā€˜Iā€™ Street in Douglas reported damage to her van on March 1.

The rear window had been smashed out sometime during the afternoon, causing about $367 in damage. Though the items inside the van were strewn about, nothing appeared taken.

Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime is encouraged to log onto the Juneau Crime Line at juneaucrimeline.com and report their tip.

Tipsters are guaranteed anonymity and can be rewarded.

Crime Line is a nonprofit organization composed of a cross-section of the community and is designed to aid police investigations.
