"Lonesome" Lester Armistead, center, with his jug flashes a smile as Mike Webb, right, plays a Dobro steel guitar with Leroy Troy, left, on the banjo. They are three of the six musicians that make up the The Tennessee Mafia Jug Band and performed as the guest artists of the 38th Annual Alaska Folk Festival at Centennial Hall on Thursday.

They were wonderful; good choice for the headline band.
Good stuff!
Definitely second the comment about Liz Snyder. Anyone know where she'll be playing next? Also does anyone remember the poem from Costa's performance or the name of the writer?

Killed it. Absolutely fantastic. I've heard she'll be performing with a few other acts at The Rookery tonight at 5:30. Also she'll be harmonizing in another act during Folk Fest on Sunday at 3:15.

Liz Snyder was amazing. That Patrick Troll, though.. he was quite incredible as well. Without him, there'd have been no whiskey. ESPECIALLY no class.
