JPD search for heating oil thieves top crime of the week

The Juneau Police Department Crime of the Week for April 13 is heating oil theft.

 

Sgt. Paul Hatch sad a citizen from the 9000 block of North Douglas Highway called JPD on April 3 to report 350 gallons of heating fuel oil stolen from his fuel tank.

The man said the theft occurred sometime in the previous four weeks. The locking gas cap was not properly secured.

Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime is encouraged to log onto the Juneau Crime Line at juneaucrimeline.com and report the tip.

Tipsters are guaranteed anonymity and can be rewarded.
