Guns on campus?
Nerf guns are obscenely, cartoonishly large, highlighter yellow in color with safety orange accents. They shoot large foam darts.
Nobody in the UAS administration appears to have classified them as a threat. Hooray for common sense!

Besides, there have always been guns on campus. We used to have a pellet gun range out our dorm window into the woods...
Just because the administration doesnt see them doesnt mean they arent there. Heck, we even dressed our deer hanging from the beams in front of our dorm room. They never questioned how we killed it or where the gun was kept.
