Basin Road and bridge to close next week

JUNEAU EMPIRE STAFF REPORT

Basin Road and the Basin Road Bridge will close on Thursday to accommodate pavement work at the beginning of the bridge. The thoroughfares will be closed to both pedestrians and vehicles beginning at 7 a.m. and will remain closed until 7 p.m.

The Perseverance Trail system will remain accessible from the end of Evergreen Avenue via the Flume trail.

access via the flume trail is not advised
