Eunice W. Akagi watches as a U.S. Honor Guard folds an American flag during the funeral of her son, Joseph P. Akagi Jr., at Alaskan Memorial Park on Monday. The funeral included a Russian Orthodox service as well as the playing of "Taps" and presentation of the flag for his service in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. The Moving Vietnam Wall Memorial, a half-sized replica of the original memorial in Washington, D.C. that includes all 58,272 names of U.S. servicemen and women killed in action during that war, will be on display in Juneau's Vintage Business Park starting today and continuing through Monday. A wreath laying ceremony will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.
