A dozen Juneau young adults start their journey to South America by kayak and bicycle on Friday from Sandy Beach. A core group of five — Andrew Flansaas, Christopher Hinkley, Colin Flynn, Kanaan Bausler and Max Stanley — are planning to do the entire trip to Tierra Del Fuego, Argentina, with other friends joining them for parts of the trip.
