Stolen guitar is Crime of the Week

Posted: June 10, 2012 - 12:06am

The Juneau Police Department Crime of the Week for June 8 is in reference to a stolen guitar.

Sgt. Paul Hatch stated in a release a man called JPD on May 1 to report his guitar was stolen from The Sandbar & Grill in the 2500 block of Industrial Boulevard the previous evening.

The guitar is described as a light wood color, acoustic guitar with the brand name “Washburn” written on top of it. It was inside a black soft-sided “gig bag” that had a white turtle-like logo on it, the release states.

The guitar is valued at about $900.
