Assault

• At 4:38 p.m. Tuesday, a 27-year-old man reported being assaulted by a 58-year-old man in the 8400 block of Old Dairy Road. Investigation continues.

Crab gear violations

• On Friday, Dillon P. Tomaro, 17, and Greg J. Light, 55, were cited by Alaska Wildlife Troopers for operating personal use crab gear near the North Douglas boat that was in violation of personal use Dungeness crab gear regulations.

Disturbance

• At 11:31 a.m. Saturday, Derek Gordon Nierstheimer, 24, was arrested on two outstanding JPD warrants. The first was for $100 for violating conditions of release, and the second was for $1,000 for failure to appear for hearing on the original charge of larceny, criminal mischief, harassment, driving under the influence, reckless endangerment and driving without a license. The warrant was dated Nov. 25, 2008.

Domestic violence

• At 3:29 p.m. Tuesday, a domestic violence protective order was served on a 48-year-old man.

• At 4:16 p.m. Tuesday, a 47-year-old man was arrested in the 100 block of Main Street for violating a domestic violence protection order. He was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was involved.

• At 11:16 p.m. Tuesday, JPD investigated a domestic violence conditions violation.

• At 7:13 a.m. Wednesday, a 34-year-old woman reported multiple domestic violence crimes. Investigation continues. Alcohol was involved.

Drunken driving

• At 2:12 a.m. Saturday, Cassandra Walker, 25, was arrested after a motor vehicle crash on Riverside Drive for driving while intoxicated, assault and failure to render assistance. She was taken to LCCC, and her vehicle was impounded.

• At 3:15 a.m. Saturday, Victoria Keso, 28, was arrested in the 3200 block of Egan Drive for driving while intoxicated. She was taken to LCCC, and her vehicle was impounded.

False statement

• On Monday, Tony D. Chandler, 57, was cited by Alaska Wildlife Troopers for obtaining a resident sport fish license when he did not meet Alaska residency requirements.

• On Friday, Dain A. Hungelmann, 36, was cited by Alaska Wildlife Troopers for obtaining a resident sport fish license when he did not meet Alaska residency requirements.

Fire and medical

• At 12:07 a.m. Tuesday, a man was taken from Bartlett Regional Hospital to Juneau International Airport and medevaced out.

• At 3:17 a.m. Tuesday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Churchill Way, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 3:40 a.m. Tuesday, Capital City Fire and Rescue responded to a construction or demolition landfill fire on Mendenhall Loop Road, and the fire was extinguished. Incident turned over to CCFR fire marshal for further investigation.

• At 8:12 a.m. Tuesday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Marine Way, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Postal Way. No fire, and alarm was activated due to sweating pipes.

• At 10:36 a.m. Tuesday, a man was taken from BRH to JIA and medevaced out.

• At 11:23 a.m. Tuesday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Franklin Street. No fire, and alarm was activated due to malfunction

• At 12:07 p.m. Tuesday, EMS care was given to a man on Ridge Way, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 12:33 p.m. Tuesday, CCFR units were dispatched to Riverside Drive on a false call other than a fire alarm. Units were returned to service.

• At 2:47 p.m. Tuesday, CCFR responded to a burn on Mill Street, and investigation found the commercial burn was authorized and in compliance.

• At 2:52 p.m. Tuesday, a woman was medevaced in to JIA and taken to BRH.

• At 4:55 p.m. Tuesday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on University Drive. No fire, and alarm was activated due to burnt food.

• At 5:35 p.m. Tuesday, EMS care was given to a woman on Amalga Street, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 5:39 p.m. Tuesday, basic life support care was given to a man on Glacier Highway, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 8:19 p.m. Tuesday, CCFR responded to a service call and transported LifeMed incubator and crew to BRH from JIA.

• At 8:44 p.m. Tuesday, CCFR assisted a man at his home on Glacier Highway.

• At 9:52 p.m. Tuesday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Third Street, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, CCFR responded to a vehicle accident on Douglas Highway, and no injuries were reported. A man declined EMS care and transport.

• At 10:43 p.m. Tuesday, a minor patient was taken from BRH to JIA and medevaced out.

• At 12:29 a.m. Wednesday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Northwood Drive, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 12:44 a.m. Wednesday, a woman was taken from BRH to JIA and medevaced out.

• At 12:46 a.m. Wednesday, CCFR responded to a carbon monoxide detector activation on Kanat-A Street, and investigation found CO readings were at zero. Alarm activated due to malfunction.

• At 1:12 a.m. Wednesday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Franklin Street. No fire, and alarm sounded due to malfunction.

• At 8:36 a.m. Wednesday, CCFR assisted a man to a private residence on Renninger Street.

• At 9:53 a.m. Wednesday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Channel Vista Drive, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 10:38 a.m. Wednesday, CCFR responded to a burn on Camden Place, and investigation found it was unauthorized, and the fire was extinguished.

• At 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, a man was taken from BRH to JIA and medevaced out.

• At 2:02 p.m. Wednesday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Franklin Street dock, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 4:11 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR responded to an unauthorized commercial burn on Airport Boulevard, and fire was extinguished.

• At 5:22 p.m. Wednesday, basic life support care was given to a woman on West Glacier Trail, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 5:36 p.m. Wednesday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Glacier Highway, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 7:04 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR rescue boat located a man in the water at Mendenhall Lake and took him to shore. No injuries reported, and no transport was required.

• At 10:32 p.m. Wednesday, basic life support care was given to a man on Glacier Highway, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 10:43 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR responded to a burn on Birch Lane, and burn was found to be authorized and in compliance.

• At 11:49 p.m. Wednesday, EMS care was given to a woman on Glacier Avenue, and she declined transport.

• At 2:09 a.m. Thursday, basic life support care was given to a man on Main Street, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 3:43 a.m. Thursday, a man was taken from BRH to JIA and medevaced out.

• At 9:45 a.m. Thursday, basic life support care was given to a man on Fourth Street, and he declined transport.

• At 6:30 p.m. Thursday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Willoughby Avenue. No fire, and activated by burnt food.

• At 10:06 p.m. Thursday, basic life support care was given to a man on Main Street, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 11:48 p.m. Thursday, advanced life support care was given to a man on 12th Street, and he was taken to BRH.

Harassment

• At 8:31 p.m. Friday, Nathan Monroe, 45, was arrested in the 8400 block of Valley Boulevard for harassment, and he was taken to LCCC on $1,000 bail. Alcohol was involved.

• At 9:12 p.m. Friday, John Anthony Garner, 19, was arrested on Douglas Highway on a $50 Juneau Alaska State Trooper for failure to appear for a pretrial hearing on the original charge of minor consuming. Alcohol was involved.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a single vehicle roll over accident on Douglas Highway involving a 1973 Chevy pickup. Driver Kenneth Michael Ryan Horton was arrested and cited for driving without a valid license and the vehicle was impounded.

• At 1:23 p.m. Friday, a 55-year-old man was involved in a single vehicle motorcycle accident in the 11000 block of Glacier Highway.

Service

• At 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Frank White, 50, was arrested during a welfare check in the 300 block of Whittier Street on a JPD warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of criminal trespass. He was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was involved.

• At 10:26 p.m. Tuesday, JPD served a summons on a 39-year-old man in the 2000 block of Lemon Creek Road.

• At 10:16 a.m. Wednesday, Vincent Stovall, 50, was arrested in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive on a $500 Anchorage Alaska State Trooper warrant charging reckless driving. He was taken to LCCC.

• At 11:04 a.m. Wednesday, Michael Joseph Schwab, 53, was arrested in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue on a $2,000 Juneau Alaska State Trooper warrant charging failure to appear. The original charge was third-degree assault and fourth-degree weapons misconduct. Schwab was also arrested on a $1,000 Juneau Alaska State Trooper warrant for failure to appear. The original charge was violating conditions of release, petition to revoke probation and driving under the influence. He was taken to LCCC.

• At 12:58 p.m. Friday, Elgin Thomas Sunny, 27, was arrested in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive on a Juneau Alaska State Troopers no bail warrant for failure to report to LCCC. He was taken to LCCC.

• At 6:27 p.m. Friday, Kamron Kessler, 40, was arrested on Egan Drive during a traffic stop and arrested on a Fairbanks Alaska State Trooper warrant charging failure to appear on the original charge of driving under the influence and driving with a cancelled/suspended/revoked license. He was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was involved.

Stalking

• At 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, a 20-day ex parte stalking protective order was served on a 24-year-old man.

• At 5:05 p.m. Tuesday, an ex parte stalking protective order needs to be served on an 18-year-old man.

• At 4:48 p.m. Friday, a 20-day ex parte stalking protective order needs to be served on a 34-year-old woman.

Theft

• At 1:34 p.m. Friday, Rachel Price, 26, was cited for larceny and released in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

Vandalism

• At 8:02 p.m. Tuesday, a 52-year-old man reported vandalism to his residence in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 11:47 p.m. Tuesday, Nicole Marie Skeek, 34, was arrested in the 2500 block of Alder Circle for assault, criminal trespass and criminal mischief. She was taken to LCCC. The Class A misdemeanor charge of assault in the 4th degree was dismissed by prosecutors July 3, 2012. Skeek plead guilty to a misdemeanor harassment charge on Aug. 23, 2012. Misdemeanor trespassing and property damage charges against Skeek were also dismissed on July 3, 2012.
