Driving without a license

• At 9:11 p.m. Wednesday, Katrina Marie Costello, 22, was cited for driving without a license on 11th Street. Her vehicle was impounded.

• At 8:08 a.m. Thursday, Christina Naylor, 20, was cited and released for driving with a suspended license following a motor vehicle crash on Marine Way.

Fire and medical

• At 12:25 a.m. Thursday, basic life support care was given to a man on Mendenhall Loop Road, and he was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 12:56 a.m. Thursday, a man was taken from BRH to Juneau International Airport and medevaced out.

• At 1:07 a.m. Thursday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Third Street, and she was taken to BRH.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 4:14 p.m. Wednesday, a bicycle ridden by a 17-year-old boy struck a vehicle in the 1400 block of Glacier Highway, causing $2,000 in damage to the vehicle. The boy was treated at BRH for his injuries.

Sex crime

• At 10:02 a.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department conducted a confidential investigation into a report of a sex crime.


• At 10:30 a.m. Thursday, a 66-year-old man reported his vehicles were rifled and a handicap placard was stolen in the 4200 block of Ptarmigan Street.

• At 9:29 a.m. Thursday, a 50-year-old woman reported three gas cans and a marine battery were stolen from her yard in the 8800 block of Sasha Avenue.


• At 6:14 a.m. Thursday, a 1994 Toyota Corolla was vandalized in the 4200 block of Ptarmigan Street. A window was broken and a tire flattened. A 1999 Chevy and a 2002 Mercury were rifled. Investigation continues. Extra patrol requested.

Nobody injured in house fire downtown
