The First National Bank Alaska Board of Directors appointed Phil Griffin as the bank’s new Chief Information Officer.
“First National is filled with seasoned banking professionals who are dedicated to serving Alaskans,” Griffin said in a press release. “It’s an honor and privilege to be part of this marvelous team.”
Griffin has four decades experience in the banking industry. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska. More recently Griffin held CIO positions in California and Nevada.
True to his title, Griffin is in charge of his bank’s information technology including security and network services. Software support and online banking also fall under Griffin’s purview.
“The face of technology is advancing and changing,” Griffin said in a release. “I’m eager to do my part to help First National’s customers recognize these changes and reach their individual goals.”
