“Altoid” jumps up in excitement before leading tourists on a 2-mile dog sledding adventure atop Norris Glacier. Alaska Heli-Mush, which contracts with Era Helicopters LLC, has been offering the tours for more than a decade every summer from May to September. Nearly 200 dogs live in the remote camp on the glacier during the summer, which is fondly referred to by the Alaska Heli-Mush employees as “Dog World”.
