Police & Fire for Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012

Assist

• At 10:05 a.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department received a request for an agency assist from the Sitka Police Department in the 6200 block of Alaway Avenue.

• At 1:43 a.m. Saturday, JPD assisted Adult Probations with a remand in the 5600 block of Glacier Highway. Alcohol was involved.

Death

• At 11:03 a.m. Friday, JPD investigated an unattended death of a 52-year-old man in his residence in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. Autopsy has been requested. Not considered suspicious.

Disorderly conduct

• At 4:36 p.m. Thursday, Malcolm Dudley, 29, was arrested for disorderly conduct on South Franklin Street, and he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved.

• At 11:40 p.m. Thursday, Dalton Nierstheimer, 19, and Falefiaoalii Laasia, 29, were arrested for disorderly conduct in the 200 block of Franklin Street, and they were taken to LCCC. Alcohol was involved.

• At 11:49 p.m. Thursday, Anthony Wayne Papa, 28, was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 100 block of Franklin Street, and he was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was involved.

• At 2:20 a.m. Saturday, Ryan David Blackwell, 32, and Enoch Olinga Fifita, 23, were cited and released for disorderly conduct in the 200 block of Front Street. Alcohol was involved.

Disturbance

• At 12:51 p.m. Friday, a 12-year-old boy was arrested in the 3100 block of National Park Service Road for weapons misconduct, domestic violence reckless endangerment and domestic violence criminal mischief. He was taken to Johnson Youth Center.

Driving without a license

• At 12:44 a.m. Friday, a 15-year-old girl was cited and released for driving without a license on Whittier Street. She was returned to her mother.

Domestic violence

• At 9:29 p.m. Friday, a 19-year-old was arrested for domestic violence assault and cited for minor consuming. He was taken to LCCC.

Fire and medical

• At 1:43 a.m. Thursday, Capital City Fire and Rescue responded to an emergency medical service call on Marine Way, and the female patient became responsive after arrival. No further medical treatment required, and units were returned to service.

• At 2:09 a.m. Thursday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Franklin Street, and she was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 2:26 a.m. Thursday, basic life support care was given to a man on Crow Hill Drive, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 8 a.m. Thursday, basic life support care was given to a man on Glacier Highway, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 11:05 a.m. Thursday, CCFR responded to a EMS call on Egan Drive, and no medical treatment was required for a male patient. Units returned to service.

• At 11:34 a.m. Thursday, CCFR responded to a float plane pond for an EMS call on Shell Simmons Drive. Basic life support care was given to two men, and they were taken to BRH.

• At 12:19 p.m. Thursday, CCFR responded to a cruise ship on Marine Way for an EMS call, and advanced life support care was given to a man. He was taken to BRH.

• At 4:20 p.m. Thursday, CCFR took a woman from SEARHC to Juneau International Airport for medevac.

• At 6:17 p.m. Thursday, CCFR responded to an EMS call on Gull Way, and a man was taken to BRH by JPD.

Fraud

• At 3:28 p.m. Friday, JPD investigated a report of forgery/fraud in the Juneau area.

Minor consuming

• At 11:45 p.m. Friday, Kevin Arnold Slats Jr., 20, was cited and released for minor consuming in the 100 block of Marine Way. Additionally, Christopher Owen Davenport, 37, was cited and released for furnishing alcohol to a minor and open container.

Sex crime

• At 12:38 p.m. Thursday, JPD investigated a possible sexual abuse of a minor.

Theft

• At 1:06 p.m. Thursday, Sione Niumataevalu, 19, was cited and released for larceny in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 4:15 p.m. Thursday, Milton George Kadake, 51, was cited and released for criminal trespass and theft in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 8:32 p.m. Thursday, a 38-year-old man reported his grey Yamaha outboard motor, valued at $2,500, stolen in the 9200 block of James Boulevard. Investigation continues.

• At 8:12 p.m. Friday, a man reported the theft of medication on Egan Drive. Investigation continues.

• At 9:31 a.m. Saturday, a 72-year-old man reported the theft of a wheel in the 5100 block of Glacier Highway.

Vandalism

• At 5:10 p.m. Thursday, a 52-year-old man reported his residence was egged sometime during the night in the 3600 block of Portage Boulevard. Extra patrol requested.

• At 11:01 p.m. Thursday, an 80-year-old man reported vandalism to a business in the 100 block of Franklin Street. Alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.

• At 9:37 a.m. Friday, JPD received a report of vandalism to a mailbox in the 4200 block of Taku Boulevard.
