Assault

• At 7:37 a.m. Monday, a 61-year-old man reported an assault in the 100 block of South Franklin Street. Alcohol was involved.

Burglary

• At 12:22 a.m. Monday, a 19-year-old boy reported an unknown person entered his residence in the 1000 block of Hendrickson Road and stole a television. Investigation continues.

Commercial fishing in closed waters

• On Tuesday, Aug. 14, Joel Randrup, 46, of Petersburg, pleaded guilty in Juneau District Court to one count of operating a commercial gillnet in the closed waters of Limestone Inlet within District 11B. Alaska Wildlife Troopers said in a dispatch he was fined $3,000 with $1,500 suspended and ordered to forfeit the value of the illegally taken fish. He was also placed on probation for one year.

Conditions violation

• At 10:27 p.m. Sunday, Marlene Susie Dulier, 55, was arrested in the 3300 block of Douglas Highway for violating conditions of release. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved.

Crab gear

• On Sunday, Glenn B. Pollow, 36, of Juneau, and Steven O. Bradford, 66, of Juneau, were cited by Alaska Wildlife Troopers for operating personal use grab gear that did not contain the proper biodegradable escape mechanism. Fine is $110.

Death

• At 12:48 a.m. Sunday, Alaska State Troopers in Juneau received a report of an unexpected home death in Gustavus. The victim was identified as Richard Sirstad, 73, of Gustavus. An investigation revealed he died of natural causes, and no foul play is suspected. Next of kin was notified. The state Medical Examiner’s Office was notified and authorized release of the body to the family.

Disturbance

• At 1:16 a.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to an altercation between two men, 29 and 45, in the 1000 block of Third Street. Alcohol was involved.

Domestic violence

• At 12:45 p.m. Monday, a 30-year-old was arrested for domestic violence assault and taken to LCCC.

Driving without a motorcycle license

• At 8:53 p.m. Sunday, Scott Raymond Webster, 45, was cited and released for driving without a motorcycle license in the 2800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. His motorcycle was impounded.

Drug activity

• At 3:58 p.m., 3:59 p.m. and 4:06 p.m. Monday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a report of drug activity.

Fire and medical

• At 12:15 a.m. Monday, Capital City Fire and Rescue responded to an EMS call on Wood Duck Avenue, and no injuries found.

• At 6:47 a.m. Monday, advanced life support care was given to a woman on Aspen Avenue, and she was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 6:53 a.m. Monday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Dixon Street, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 8:19 a.m. Monday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Glacier Highway, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 9:51 a.m. Monday, basic life support care was given to a man on Franklin Street, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 10 a.m. Monday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Stephen Richards Memorial Drive, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 1:17 p.m. Monday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Salmon Creek Lane, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 1:23 p.m. Monday, basic life support care was given to a man on Jensine Street, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 5:19 p.m. Monday, CCFR responded to an EMS call at Auke Bay Harbor, and no transport requested.

• At 6:59 p.m. Monday, basic life support care was given to a Egan Drive, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 7:33 p.m. Monday, CCFR responded to a dumpster fire on Crazy Horse Drive, and fire was extinguished.

• At 8:12 p.m. Monday, basic life support care was given to a man on Cinema Drive, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 11:01 p.m. Monday, a man was taken from BRH to Juneau International Airport and medevaced out.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 8:19 a.m. Monday, a 998 Ford Expedition was impounded for safekeeping after striking a building in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 8:12 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 9200 block of Cinema Drive. Investigation revealed an intoxicated man had been arguing with an unidentified woman in a vehicle. The woman drove away, and the man was dragged by the vehicle for a short distance. He was taken to BRH for injuries. Investigation continues.

Snagging

• On Sunday, Lui V. Iputi, 71, of Juneau, was cited by Alaska Wildlife Troopers for attempting to snag salmon at the DIPAC hatchery. He was fined $110.

Sport fishing with more than one line

• On Friday, Scott A. Martin, 40, of Juneau, was cited by Alaska Wildlife Troopers for sport fishing with more than one line. He was fined $110.

Theft

• At 8:42 p.m. Sunday, a 31-year-old man reported his iPod Touch and wallet stolen from his locked vehicle in the 400 block of Franklin Street. Investigation continues.

• At 11 a.m. Monday, a 29-year-old woman reported the theft of a gold and diamond ring valued at $500 stolen in the 1500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 12:21 p.m. Monday, a 17-year-old girl was cited and released for shoplifting in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 6:59 p.m. Monday, JPD investigated a reported theft of merchandise on Old Dairy Road. Alcohol was involved.

• At 8:17 p.m. Monday, a 39-year-old reported a stolen bike in the 200 block of Franklin Street.

• At 10:46 a.m. Tuesday, a 79-year-old man reported the theft of a telescope from his deck in the 2300 block of Old Lawson Creek Road.

Vandalism

• At 2:40 p.m. Sunday, a 33-year-old man reported his tires had been slashed in the 9100 block of Cinema Drive.
