Assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct

• Michael Thomas Gregory Wood, 23, was arrested on the 100 block of Franklin Street at 2:51 a.m. Sunday for two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of assault on a police officer and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was a factor, police say.


• Police are investigating an unattended death on the 3700 block of Amalga Street.


• Franklin Joseph Naumcheff, 27, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and refusal, and was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Domestic violence

• At 1:27 p.m. Saturday a 25-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault following a disturbance.

Found property

A pocketbook found on the 200 block of Front Street was turn over to police at 4:04 a.m. It contained two iPhones worth an estimated $900.


• At 3:52 p.m. a 29-year-old woman reported fraudulent use of her bank account in the Juneau Area.

Hit & Run

• Police are investigating a hit and run accident at 7:41 p.m. Saturday on Marine Way.

Lost property

• An 18-year-old man reported lost property Sunday at 10:07 a.m. on the 100 block of Distin Avenue.

• Lost property found on the 4000 block of Delta Drive was placed into safekeeping at 11:17 a.m.

Minor consuming

• Harley Roland Williams, 19, was cited and released for minor consuming on the 3600 block of Amalga Street at 12:22 a.m. Sunday.

• Kevin Arnold Slats, 19, was cited and released for minor consuming on the 100 block of Marine Way Sunday at 12:46 a.m.


• At 3:02 p.m. a 23-year-old woman reported prescription medicine was stolen in the 11500 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

• Anthony Wayne Papa, 28, was arrested for shoplifting and violating conditions of parole at 11:03 a.m. Sunday on Glacier Highway. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• At 1:56 p.m. Saturday a city employee reported vandalism to a park bench at the top the municipal garage at 100 Main Street.

• A 29-year-old man reported vandalism to his 2005 Ford and another vehicle at 10:07 a.m. Sunday.
