JPD, business owner seek graffiti suspects

The Juneau Police Department Crime of the Week for Friday is in reference to a vandalism.

Sgt. Paul Hatch said in a release that a business owner from the 1700 block of Ralph’s Way in the Lemon Creek area contacted JPD on Aug. 16 to report a large amount of graffiti at the business. The caller said the graffiti appeared the night prior.

According to the release, an unknown person had used white spray paint to write the words “YOMP” and “REAPERZ,” plus unreadable words on the building. The word “GEKO” was also spray painted on a power box outside the business and painted alongside a fence outside the business.

The victim said he or she would give up to a $1,000 award for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s).
