Police calls for Monday, September 24, 2012

• At 6:26 p.m. on Saturday, the Juneau police assisted with a welfare check on the 10200 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

Domestic Assault

• At 11:25 p.m. on Saturday, a 27-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault, assault III, assault IV, and criminal trespass on the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Dr. He was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was involved.

• At 7:01 a.m. on Sunday, a 44-year-old woman reported a 52-year-old male violated conditions of a domestic violence protective order on the 4400 block of Kanata Street.

Driving while intoxicated

• At 1:20 a.m. on Sunday, a 25-year-old man, Albert Nauer, was arrested for driving while intoxicated on the 8800 block of Egan Drive. Nauer was taken to LCCC and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Motor Vehicle Crash

• At 12:52 p.m. on Saturday, a 35-year-old woman reported her vehicle was struck while parked on the 200 block of Seward St., causing $100 worth of damages to the vehicle.

• At 9:22 a.m. on Sunday, a 47-year-old man reported his Toyota Tacoma was struck while parked on the 500 block of 11th Street, causing $800 in damage to the tailgate.


• At 3:04 p.m. on Saturday, 24-year-old Eric Jonathan James Larsen was arrested for second degree criminal trespass on the 2300 block of Jordan Ave. Larsen was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was involved.

12-year-old intentionally set brush fire, fire marshal says

A 12-year-old boy intentionally set a brush fire in the Mendenhall Valley on Wednesday, according to a statement from Capital City Fire/Rescue.
