Police & Fire for Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012

Assault

• At 6:17 p.m. Sunday, JPD investigated a report of a possible assault in the 300 block of Willoughby Avenue.

Domestic violence

• At 10:18 p.m. Sunday, a 23-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence assault, domestic violence criminal mischief and resisting arrest. Alcohol was involved. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Driving without a license

• At 1:14 p.m. Sunday, Donald Cowling, 65, was cited for driving without a license in the 3200 block of Egan Drive, and his vehicle was impounded.

• At 4:41 p.m. Sunday, Phyllis Nelson, 23, was cited for driving without a license in the 4000 block of Egan Drive, and her vehicle was impounded.

• At 11:27 a.m. Monday, Jacob Levi Boon, 26, was cited for driving without a license in the 1600 block of Anka Street, and his vehicle was impounded.

Fire and medical

• At 11:47 a.m. Monday, Capital City Fire and Rescue responded to a smoke call on Montana Creek Road and found an unauthorized burn. The owner complied when ordered to extinguish.

• At 12:40 p.m. Monday, advanced life support care was given to a woman on Douglas Highway, and she was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 12:44 p.m. Monday, CCFR provided transport for a female patient and flight crew from BRH to Juneau International Airport.

• At 1:46 p.m. Monday, basic life support care was given to a man on Gastineau Avenue, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 2:07 p.m. Monday, CCFR provided transport for a male patient and flight crew from JIA to BRH.

• At 4:19 p.m. Monday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Front Street, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 5:09 p.m. Monday, CCFR provided transport for a female patient and flight crew from BRH to JIA.

• At 5:29 p.m. Monday, CCFR responded to a burn complaint on Montana Creek Road, and the owner did not have a proper permit. The owner complied when ordered to extinguish.

• At 5:45 p.m. Monday, basic life support care was given to a man on Glacier Highway, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 7:54 p.m. Monday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Eighth Street, and no smoke or fire was found. Units returned to service.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 4:49 p.m. Sunday, a 59-year-old man reported his parked white Toyota van was struck by an unknown vehicle in the 2700 block of Roger Street.

Theft

• At 12:58 p.m. Sunday, JPD investigated a theft in the 200 block of Third Street.

• At 9:31 p.m. Sunday, a 48-year-old man reported the theft of traffic cones valued under $200 on Thunder Mountain Road.
