Police and Fire calls for Oct. 24, 2012

Burglary

• On Monday at 5:22 p.m. a 36-year-old man reported a burglary to a business on the 200 block of Front Street.

Domestic violence/Assault

• On Monday at 10:08 p.m. a 41-year-old woman was arrested in the Juneau area for domestic violence/Assault and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was a factor.

Driving without a license

• On Tuesday at 7:56 a.m. on the 1700 block of Glacier Highway, Edward Craig III, 21, was cited and released for driving without a license. The vehicle was impounded.

• At 8:34 a.m. on Egan, Lee Nelson, 20, was cited and released for driving without a license. The vehicle was impounded.

•At 8:44 a.m. on the 1600 block of Glacier Highway Kayla Gonzalez, 33, was cited for driving without a license. The vehicle was impounded.

Drug activity

• On Monday, police began a confidential investigation into drug activity in the Juneau area at 1:01 p.m.

Fire and Medical calls

• At 3:13 a.m. Monday, Capital City Fire & Rescue provided transport for patient and crew from BRH to JIA for medevac from Hospital Drive.

• At 10:01 a.m. Monday, Capital City Fire & Rescue provided advanced life support care to a male and transported him to Bartlett Regional Hospital from Seward Street.

• At 10:44 a.m. Monday, Capital City Fire & Rescue responded to smoke odor on Douglas Highway. No smoke or fire was found.

• At 11:08 a.m. Monday, Capital City Fire & Rescue provided advanced life support care and transport to BRH for a female on Franklin Street

• At 10:08 p.m. Monday, Capital City Fire & Rescue provided advanced life support aid for a female and took her to Bartlett Regional Hospital from Third Street.

• At 10:30 p.m. Monday, Capital City Fire & Rescue responded to a general fire alarm on Eighth Street. No smoke or fire found.

Fraud/Forgery/Counterfeit

• At 9:46 a.m. Tuesday police investigated criminal misuse of a computer in the Juneau area.

• At 11:08 a.m. Tuesday a 50-year-old woman reported unauthorized charges on Alaska Housing’s ghost credit card account.

Parking violation

• A 1990 Ford pickup was impounded for a parking violation Tuesday at 7:14 a.m. on the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.
