The Juneau Police Department Crime of the Week for Nov. 9 is in reference to the theft of heating oil.
Sgt. Paul Hatch said in a release that a resident in the 300 block of East Street in Douglas reported the theft of heating fuel oil on Sept. 28.
The fuel tank was built into a porch attached to the house. Beneath the tank were a hose and funnels taped together in an apparent attempt to siphon fuel.
The release states the theft occurred during the daytime hours in the afternoon. Approximately 70 gallons of fuel was stolen.

Does it make you feel good taking an unfortunate incident like this that creates a hardship on people and then turn it into political statement? I would hope the political party that you are coming from would be just as embarrassed as you should be?
Or Reaganomics in action?
Sounds more like oil "trickling down" the siphon hose to me!
onder-There is little
onder-There is little differance between somebody that votes for a party that promises to confiscate income from your neighbor, to buy "free stuff" for you. And this thief stealing on his( her?) own.
As a matter of fact, I can respect the oil thief, at least they had the b*lls to do the stealing on their own.

Maybe I'm not making my point, what does this story have to do with politic's?
I am pointing out the mind
I am pointing out the mind set of the majority of the country. That it's o.k. to steal from those that have more than you do.
It's just that most of the moochercrats don't have the b*lls this thief did, & depend on their government to preform the armed robbery on their behalf.
This is disgusting
Stealing from your neighbors? Whoever did this should be ashamed of themselves, quit being lazy, get a job, and stop thinking that others owe you anything. People work hard, and get heating oil to keep their families warm, and you give them stress and a cold environment for their children. If you are able bodied enough to crawl under a fuel tank and steal you are able to work at a real job. You are a coward and your actions will catch up with you.
