looks a lot cheaper than a new skating rink.

Can build within the 50' setback.
The article fails to mention
This is the John Couette Memorial Warming Hut. He was from the Midwest where such structures are quite common. It is being built with private funds by mostly volunteers. The entire community will be welcome to use it. So lets save the snark for articles about oil taxes, okay?
Thanks Roy
Didn't realize that.
nice!
That'll be cozy comfy! Roy, thanks for the info. It would have been nice to have that background info. Sometimes I'm frustrated with the snapshots and very little context.
You'd think something like
You'd think something like that might have made it into the article, but that would probably violate the empires policies...
Awesome!
Very nice, I look forward to using it!
memorial shelter
Thank you, "Roy," for sharing more information. Indeed this shelter is being built in loving memory of my late husband John Caouette with money and time donated by caring friends and family. If anyone would like to contribute to the John Caouette Memorial Fund, please go to the Juneau Community Foundation website at juneaucf.org. We are so grateful for all the support and look forward to sharing good times at the shelter.

Totally spelled John's last name wrong
Sorry about that.
I wonder if ICE has visited
I wonder if ICE has visited Pollards crew?
A very thoughtful question.
Some questions are never asked, some when asked are never appreciated. A question about a construction crew could indicate that they have been noticed before this commented question.

This is a very messed up state - Alaska!
