Photos: Harborview students recreate the past

The fifth-grade classes of Christina Dick and Liz Agnew, teachers at Harborview Elementary School, created dioramas and wrote booklets of information about the way Native American tribes lived prior to European contact. Agnew said students took a field trip to the Alaska State Museum to prepare for the project, “just to get an idea of how curators set up their museums and ... how they set up their displays.” The students’ displays will stay up for parent-teacher conferences on Tuesday and Wednesday. After that, they will be moved to the school library.
