Troopers seek info on home burglary, theft in Ketchikan

Alaska State Troopers are seeking information from the public about a home burglary and theft in Ketchikan.

Troopers said in a dispatch that they were notified of a burglary in the 7800 block of South Tongass Highway at 8:51 a.m. Monday.

An unknown person(s) entered the home’s garage and stole a three-drawer Craftsman toolbox containing miscellaneous Craftsman tools.

The total estimated value of the stolen property is about $1,000, according to the dispatch.

Troopers believe the burglary/theft took place sometime between midnight and 4 a.m. on Monday. Investigation is continuing.

Troopers ask anyone with information about the incident to call them at 225-5118. Callers may remain anonymous.
