Commercial fishing in closed waters

• On Nov. 29, Jeremy C. Jensen, 38, of Petersburg pleaded guilty to one count of operating a commercial salmon seine during a closed period in District 11A north of Juneau, according to Alaska Wildlife Troopers. Jensen was fined $3,000 with $2,000 suspended and placed on probation for two years. Troopers say the violation occurred on July 19 during the salmon seine fishery near Amalga Harbor.

Domestic violence assault

• At 11:53 p.m. Sunday, charges were forwarded to the city attorney’s office for consideration of prosecuting a domestic violence related assault involving a 48-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man.

Drug activity

• At 11:20 a.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department conducted a confidential drug investigation in the Juneau area.

Fire and medical

• At 12:30 a.m. Sunday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Glacier Highway, and he was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 9:50 a.m. Sunday, basic life support care was given to a man on Ninth Street, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 11:05 Sunday, Capital City Fire/Rescue provided transport for a male patient and crew from BRH to Juneau International Airport for medevac.

• At 1:15 p.m. Sunday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Main Street, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 1:57 p.m. Sunday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Glacier Highway, and no transport was required.

• At 2:41 p.m. Sunday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Lemon Creek Road, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 3:26 p.m. Sunday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Mendenhall Loop Road, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 9:41 p.m. Sunday, basic life support care was given to a man on Churchill Way, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 9:45 p.m. Sunday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Fourth Street that was set off by burnt food. The area was ventilated, and units returned to service.

• At 11:49 p.m. Sunday, CCFR responded to a CPR in progress on Douglas Highway, and medics provided advanced life support care until advised by a physician to stop. A male patient left on scene with JPD.

Theft

• At 8:08 p.m. Sunday, charges were forwarded to the district attorney’s office for consideration of prosecuting a 28-year-old man with felony theft from a business in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 8:42 a.m. Sunday, a 30-year-old man reported the theft of heating fuel in the 500 block of East Street.
