Commercial fishing closed period

• On Nov. 29, Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Juneau issued Wayne Chambers, 46, of Haines, two summonses for commercial fishing closed period. Chambers was observed fishing during a closed period in Lynn Canal north of Point Bridget on July 8 and 10. His is scheduled to appear in Juneau District Court on Dec. 20.

Domestic violence assault

• At 8:41 p.m. Monday, a 29-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault, and he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved.

Fire and medical

• At 12:01 p.m. Monday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Douglas Highway, and he was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 12:48 p.m. Monday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Salmon Creek Lane, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 3:31 p.m. Monday, advanced life support care was given to a woman, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 4:24 p.m. Monday, Capital City Fire and Rescue provided transport for a female patient and crew from BRH to Juneau International Airport to be medevaced.

• At 8:41 p.m. Monday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Stephen Richards Memorial Drive, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 9:28 p.m. Monday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Fourth Street, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 10:05 p.m. Monday, advanced life support care was given to a woman on Steelhead Street, and she was taken to BRH.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 3:53 p.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department investigated a report of a hit and run on Fourth Street. Unable to locate.

• At 4:52 p.m. Monday, a 35-year-old man reported damage to his vehicle in the 8200 block of Garnet Street. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 4:48 p.m. Monday, a 60-year-old man reported a cell phone, valued at $500, stolen in the 200 block of Front Street. Investigation continues.

Trap closed season/wanton waste

• On Nov. 30, Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Wade Shaw, 19, of Kake, for trapping marten on Kupreanof Island in GMU 3 prior to season opening. Further investigation revealed Shaw had failed to salvage any meat of a doe black tail deer, and he was additionally cited for wanton waste of a big game animal. Shaw is scheduled to appear in District Court in Kake on Dec. 18.

Unlawful methods of take game

• On Dec. 3, Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Joshua Johnson, 32, of Sitka, for attempting to take a Sitka black tail deer from a boat in GMU 4. Johnson was contacted after he was observed shooting from a boat in Neva Strait. He was given a court date of Dec. 18 in Sitka District Court.

• On Dec. 3, Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Garret Smith, 41, of Sitka, for attempting to take a Sitka black tail deer from a boat in GMU 4. Smith was contacted after he was observed shooting from a boat in Neva Strait. He was given a court date of Dec. 18 in Sitka District Court.
