Assault

• At 7:07 a.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department investigated a report of an assault in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway.

Burglary

• At 9:27 a.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated a report of theft of household items from a residence in the 900 block of Third Street.

Drunken driving

• At 5:41 p.m. Tuesday, Trevor Norman Clark, 24, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash on Riverside Drive. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center, and his vehicle was impounded.

Drunken driving/Drug misconduct

• At 8:55 p.m. Tuesday, Alaska State Troopers in Ketchikan conducted a traffic stop on a blue Ford Explorer near Mile 6 of the North Tongass Highway after the vehicle was observed to have a broken tail light. Investigation revealed that David Kitsmiller, 55, of Ketchikan, was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for driving under the influence. Further investigation revealed that a passenger, Sarah Kitsmiller, 20, of Ketchikan, was found to have been violating conditions of release after she was found to be in possession of marijuana and non-prescribed medications. She was arrested on two counts of fifth-degree drug misconduct, one count of sixth-degree drug misconduct and three counts of violating conditions of release. They were taken to Ketchikan Correctional Center.

Impound/citation

• At 7:07 p.m. Tuesday, Kyle David Nalan, 33, was cited for driving without a valid license on Basin Road, and his vehicle was impounded.

Fire and medical

• At 12:14 a.m. Tuesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to an automatic fire alarm on Commercial Boulevard, and it was sounded due to maintenance. Units returned to service.

• At 8:04 a.m. Tuesday, advanced life support care was given to a woman on Second Street, and she was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Dogwood Lane, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 9:55 a.m. Tuesday, advanced life support care was given to a woman on First Street, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 10:16 a.m. Tuesday, basic life support care was given to a man on Fourth Street, and no transport was requested.

• At 12:07 p.m. Tuesday, CCFR responded to an EMS call on Marine Way for a male patient, and no EMS care was required. Returned to service.

• At 3:42 p.m. Tuesday, CCFR responded to a vehicle accident without injuries on Egan Drive, and no EMS or fire department service was required. Returned to service.

• At 5:39 p.m. Tuesday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Northwood Drive, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 6 p.m. Tuesday, CCFR provided public assistance to a woman on First Street.

• At 9:43 p.m. Tuesday, basic life support care was given to a man on Franklin Street, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 10:12 p.m. Tuesday, basic life support care was given to a man on Front Street, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, basic life support care was given to a man on Egan Drive, and he was taken to BRH.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 3:58 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a two-vehicle crash in the 7500 block of Douglas Highway. Both vehicles were totaled.

• At 3:42 p.m. Tuesday, a 1993 Chevy pickup was impounded for safekeeping after a single vehicle rollover in the 1200 block of Egan Drive.

Theft

• At 3:36 p.m. Tuesday, Robyn Byrd, 18, was cited and released for larceny in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. Her 17-year-old friend was released to a family friend.

• At 5:02 p.m. Tuesday, JPD investigated a report of criminal trespass in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 4:03 p.m. Tuesday, JPD investigated a report of a snowboard stolen sometime in October in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

• At 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated a report of theft of a purse of unknown value in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway.

Vandalism

• At 12:12 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of vandalism to a trailer, including two broken windows, in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

• At 1:26 a.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated a 22-year-old man vandalizing a building in the 100 block of Franklin Street.
