Close to 1000 New Year Polar Dippers took the ocean plunge in the “Living The Dream 2013” Polar Dip at the Auke Village Recreation Area on Tuesday. Water temperatures were 37-degrees and a brisk wind blew in from the water.

Hearty souls enter the “Living The Dream 2013” Polar Dip from the beach at Auke Village Recreation Area into waters flowing in from Stephen’s Passage and beyond on Tuesday.
