The Juneau School District is holding its second meeting of its budget committee today, Jan. 22. The public is invited to testify.
The committee is working with budget recommendations from JSD Superintendent Glen Gelbrich and his administrative team to craft Juneau’s 2013/2014 school-year budget.
This will be the first chance this year for the public to offer their ideas and concerns through testimony to the committee. In addition to public testimony the meeting’s agenda includes a presentation on the budget assumptions for the next fiscal year, discussion of the strategic plan and an overview of district programs.
The budget committee is scheduled to meet today Jan. 22 at 6:00 p.m. in the Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School Commons.
