Artist M.K. McNaughton gets help from Chris Taylor, Artistic Coordinator for The Canvas, as they move a plastic human skeleton to her car as she prepares for a workshop on the "One Million Bones" project. McNaughton has been teaching students how to make bones out of plaster. Her goal is to have 8,000 bones to send to Washington D.C. for the collaborative art installation to recognize the victims and survivors of the crises in Sudan, the Democratic republic of the Congo, Somalia and Burma.
